Workshops for youth (13-16y) on protection of personal data; cooperation with social partners of CEJM

The member of CEJM Team, mgr Krzysztof J. Jankowski LL.M. conducts workshops for the youth students of age between 13 and 16 years old, as a part of project “Comfort of freedom”. The workshops pose before the students number of questions regarding their day-to-day life and use of personal data while using smartphones, social medias etc.

The right to protection of personal data is one of the fundamental rights in the EU legal system. The Center of Excellence of Jean Monnet – in line with its mission and aims – supports the activities which aim to popularize an understanding the observance of human rights. Besides the stricte academic activities, one of the CEJM’s targets is to cooperate with the partners from the civic society – including schools – and to educate people on the protection the EU law gives to rights of an individuals.

The project “Comfort of freedom” has been executed thanks to the directors and the team of teachers of Gimnazjum nr 6 in Wrocław, located at ul. Aleja Pracy. We would like to thank you for all the help and support in execution of the project!
