Director of Center of Excellence of Jean Monnet at Unviersity of Wrocław, the head of Chair of Research and European Studies of Jean Monnet at the same university. Due to the obtained scientifical grants and scholarships she used to worked in European Institute in Saarbrücken, Institute of Comparative Law in Lozanne, Ruhr Universität Bochum and at University of Robert Schuman in Strasburg. Prof. Kornobis-Romanowska closely works with University Sophia Antipolis in Nice, also as a visiting professor.
She is a lecturer in the international SOCRATES/ERASMUS program as well as in several learning programs for judges, advocates, attorneys on the European Union law. Her main scientifical interests embrace: protection of fundamental rigths in the EU, principles of application of the European Union law in the legal systems of member states, legal regime of area of freedom, security and justice. Prof. Kornobis-Romanowska is the author of many publications on the European Union law, including monographies: ‘European Convention of Human Rights in the Legal System of European Communitie’s (2001) and ‘The Court of Member State’.
