We invite you to read the opinion of the Advocate General issued in the case C-579/13 P i S v Commissie Sociale Zekerheid Breda i College van Burgemeester en Wethouders van de gemeente Amstelveen i College van Burgemeester en Wethouders van de gemeente Amstelveen.

The proceeding was initiated by a Dutch court by the motion for a preliminary judgement. The question posed by the Dutch court regards an understanding of relation between national and EU laws in the field of immigration. It particularly refers to the limits posed be the EU legislation for an application of national provisions prescribing the obligation of integration of foreginers to the Dutch society.
