CEJM would like to invite you for the next open seminary under the title

„FILTER BUBBLES – QUALITY OF INFORMATION OR ITS FREEDOM”

WHEN: 16.03.2016 (WEDNESDAY) 16.45-18.15; WHERE: 303B WPAIE

We are going to discusse the phenomenon of filter bubbles, described by Eli Pariser in his book by the same title. We get only such information which ‘fits’ us, in the process of personalisation of web services. Is what we want, something we really need? Is there any reason due to which we should get know other points of view? Does the personalisation of web services influence the quality of our democracy? If so, how?
